Local student donates to help rescue animals

Local Maroon second grader, Layton Hall, recently turned a craft project into a fundraiser for animals. When Hall created a heart wreath out of yarn for a Valentine decoration, her mom posted a picture on Facebook. Several friends showed interest in purchasing a wreath if she made more.
